Anyone in DFW have a lower unit shipping box sitting around I could borrow? Need to send my lower unit off for warranty work. It's for a 3.0L motor.

Thanks!

Don't know if this will help you but the last time I shipped a LU off, I built a wooden frame outta 2 X 4's that I could bolt it to then found a cardboard box that it would fit in. The way some of the shipping companies throw things around, you want it to be secured so if it lands on the skeg or the driveshaft, it won't get damaged.

I agree with Ken except I wouldn't even worry about the cardboard. I covered my wood frame with 1/4"plywood and shipped it like that. Screw it together where it can be taken apart easily. They will ship the unit back to you in one of their boxs.
