Big thanks to Jack 'Slabseeker'for his guide expertise on Lake Granger. Thank you sir. Plugchunker and I had a blast. Fishing was HOT! Purple jigs seemed to be the ticket! We caught some fatties! Most fish were in the 11-12" range. The bite was solid and each fish seemed to crush it! Super excited to get home and clean these bad boys so we can get them in the grease! Thanks again Jack. Wishin' I could go fishin' on Granger. Been too busy tying purple jigs. LOL. Glad y'all had a good day on Granger. Jack, I've been hearing you are the man! Going to try a little stump fishin' on Granger next weekend myself. Got a new color I want to try.

I need some of those purple and gold jigs that you gave me Kevin. I have one left out of the 4. I caught over 100 on each of the first two and wore them to where the body was almost gone. You should have been out here the last 2 rainy days. We had 86 yesterday and 100 today. That was in 7 hours of fishing each day. The fishing is unreal in these cool rainy conditions. Get me about a dozen of the purple and gold and I will get them and pay you when I see you. Thanks. PS -- I finally got them to fix the electricity.

I'll get ya some of those jigs Tommy. I was out there when the Park Ranger opened the mechanical room and tried to fix the electricity. She could not find the right breaker so I looked and found the right one. Glad we got it reset! I'll be out there for sure on Friday if not sooner.......
