So I went a little crazy yesterday. But maybe crazy can be good? Anyway, these are a couple patterns I came up with in my weirdness..... ALIEN SHAD This kind of came as a result of C Worthy's thread regarding kill spots on shad, and whether it would help other baits get more reliable hookups. I figured having kill spots all down the body might be a weird thing to try.  HOLOGRAPHIC FIRESHAD Just because I'm weird. It is hard to capture and photos, but the holographic shift in the yellow section is pretty cool.   SIMPLE SHAD I was just looking to figure out away to paint a simple shad pattern that still had some color shift and was interesting. There aren't many colors in this, but it looks like it will be pretty effective. Hopefully.....  Anyway, those were my weird experiments from yesterday! Thoughts and comments are always welcome!

simple shad and holographic shad are winners. the alien needs to phone home. multiple kill dots are sometimes a good look if their subtle and on the right bait.

I don't know, I'll betcha the alien would work in stained waters ....some of the things that bass target are astoundingly weird ! :P
