Nobody was complaining when he got traded out of here. He couldn't get out of here fast enough. This is my recollection as well. I used to be huge into baseball cards, and still run across a couple small flip books and stashes now and then. Found a Rookie / Highlight / Prospect deluxe A-Rod card with the Mariners. Went online and saw that even at the time, like 2009, it was still worth $20. I was surprised that cards could still be worth that much, and, well, for him?

Girardi put ARod at 3rd at the end of the game a pulled him so he could get his finally ovation from the Yankee crowd, Arod went 1-4 with rbi double.

One of my all time favorite moments in baseball was when ARod made the final out of the season with a big K when the rangers sent them home in the playoffs (I think 2011). Arod needs to go away. Talented no doubt. Cheater no doubt. Liar no doubt. He just needs to go away.

Girardi is definitely not a jerk, i got to play for him in 2006 as a Marlin. He was my favorite coach by a big margin. He gets paid to play the best he feels can win him games, but dont be surprised if Arod not playing 3rd came down from Cashman
