Back in the late 90s I remember a highly nitros'd Stang was running just a shade over 8.1 on DOT slicks.

street tire no bar, i think it was 5.70 at the 1/8 @ 144mph would have to find my tickets, never could get a clean pass it either spun or wheelied but still managed this.

Best I ever ran in the 1/8 was 6.90 on a 325 MT radial. Truck spun the entire strip at Redline. 468 BB making just over 800 at the motor (on pump gas) with an additional 400 curtesy of NO2. Ran that engine well into the 7000 rpm range every pass and never had a problem. I miss that truck. Sold the motor at Redline one night after blowing my belt to pieces. The guy that bought it was kind enough to pull on the spot and give me a tow home. I miss racing

not my best all motor pass but heres a vid, havent raced it in years, spent a lot of money building a motor only to blow it up, it made 280 hp on nitrous at one point but that motor is gone. put a stocker back in it. best stock all motor pass was 9.21 it just sits in my garage. I won bike e/t championship on it 2 years in a row at one time here at our local bike night point series event

i just traded my GTO for a wrangler. it was pretty fast but I do not own it anymore. the wrangler not so much.
