How in the heck do you remove the side plate for cleaning, I'm stumped!

How in the heck do you remove the side plate for cleaning, I'm stumped! If it's one of the older 100s BSV there's a switch on the back of the reel on the same side as the side plate you want to remove. Just flip that switch

handle sideplate is screwed on from the spool side of the reel on that model
