Had a pretty good week with a 35 keeper average, ended it with a 2 man limit today. Started this morning on standing timber in 8-10' and caught some nice fish. Moved out to submerged timber in 15-18' water once sun got up. Most were suspended 8-10' deep but found a few right off the bottom once the suspended fish quit biting. Orange/chart and white/chart jigs is all I've been using. Have bought some minnows and at times they really help. Cut Shad tipped on a jig or Crappie nibbles have made a difference on several trips. I hate messing with any bait but at times it has made a huge difference. Had to force myself to slow down this week. Once you get a couple bites it seems to fire them up. Bad news is my motor starting acting up so I am headed to Texoma Marine in the morning and hope I can get back on water Tuesday.

Great report Jerry. Hope you can get your boat repaired in a timely manner. Seems like it always takes longer to fix when I have something go wrong. Maybe that's just my luck

We have been on them mid day, 16-20 submerged timber, all on minnow bite though. Adam fished four days last week and bite was same everyday for him.
Good luck with the boat.
