If I said where this spot was, I would be risking dealing w/ bank and boat fisherman. Either one, would be too much pressure. So, I would risk not having a spot to fish, or having the spot possibly fished out. So why would i want to risk this? Too many internet scouters out there. I'll pm u first next time to decide whether or not to post or not to post my favorite fishing holes. And weight the risk vs reward. Thanks.

i totally understand your point of veiw. never even thought of the whole internet scout thing, there are alot of people who read and do not post.

two spots i've posted on here have gone totally downhill over the last two years - in terms of more trash, smaller fish, & fewer fish.

i don't think it was TFFers since they generally respect the habitat; i think it was people who view this site scouting for places to make a haul on fish.

don't forget about the big bust they had last year where a group of guys were busted for netting a ton of bass & then selling them at mom & pop grocery stores in ft. worth.

i've just resigned myself to only sharing spots with my friends who i trust won't trash a place/catch & release only. that's just me & my preference.

Thats why I have my own ponds, I catch and release all my babies to grow big and fat. I usually dont fish it more than an average of 2 days a months. but now that it is full of water I may be going out there this weekend !
