Headed to Venice in August...need recommendations for a good place for 5 to stay.
Also looking for guide recommendations.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

Yellow cotton bayside cabins. Our freedom charters captain Hoop or captain Mike Ellis on the relentless.

We rented a houseboat last year called the Miss Princess, off of VBRO.com, Very reasonably priced and accommodations were great. We had 5 people, and there was more than enough room for all of us. The guides picked us up right off the back porch, and it is just a couple hundred yards from the marina, so you can watch the boats come in and unload to see what everyone caught. We booked with Captain Boola for inshore, he was unable to make it due to his child being born, but put us with 2 other GREAT captains. For offshore, go with anyone in the Mexican Gulf Fishing Company, Eddie burger, or Hunter Cabalero with Paradise outfitters.

One other note, I recommend bringing your own food to cook,as the food at the marina, isn't all that great.

Just got back from fishing with Capt. Rene Luminais at Paradise Outfitters. Highly recommended. The family and I caught 7 Yellowfin and decided to fish for snapper because we got our butts wooped on the tuna. Had a blast. Limited on snapper in about 15 minutes.
