hey everyone my name is kaleb or as everyone calls back north "tiger" i just moved here last week from minnesota. i do like it down here but not as much as if i knew where to fish for some good crappies. i was a memeber of a site back home called in-depthangling.com i got to know a lot of guys on there and became close friends with a lot of them. i hope to accomplish that you all as well. i love to fish and especially loved to ice fish for crappies but seeing that is impossible down here i just want to find some slabber crappies. i would appreciate any info you guys could give me. i live on custer road in plano and don't know much of anywhere here yet but am looking to get out this weekend and try things out. if anyone would like to tag along and show me a few spots i ouwld have no problem with that. i aslo like to bass fish and i heard theres balck bass down here, never caught one but would sure like to hunt for some. a little about me im 25, i was born and raised in rural minnesota. im an avid hunter and fishermen, i love the outdoors! anyway hope you all have a good day and hope to talk with some of you soon. thanks, kaleb james "Tiger"

Hey Tiger welcome to Texas and TFF. Where are you living at now? What lakes are you planning to fish? You can always get some good info from the good folks of TFF.

Welcome again

Welcome to Texas and I think you will find the fishing down here is just as fun as up north wink You have arrived just in time for the spring run of crappie, whitebass/hybrids and LM bass. With the information gained from TFF you should be into the fish in no time flat...

Welcome to Texas. There is a lot of places to catch crappie and bass. Ray Roberts is a good lake. There is also the lewisville barge. You need to try carp fishing. They put up a hell of a fight. Then we release them.
