Hello everybody, just wanted to say that I often check out the forum and love the helpful info thats listed. I'm in Oklahoma,(15 miles from the stateline) but I'm from San Antonio, so I consider myself a Texan. Besides this is the best forum for catfishing I have seen.

Welcome aboard. I agree since finding this forum I've picked up a lot of good tips. Hey you ever fish on Lake Hugo? I go up there in the summer for Crappie.

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

THank you all for the Welcome. Tomnt and Drawout I have not been to Lake Hugo. I actually live in Southwest Oklahoma. I live about 12 miles from Lake Altus-Lugert. Altus has an abundance of crappie as well. Its not really known for catfish but I always get a few when I go out.
