I'm planning to buy a Tracker model 1236 Jon boat In a month or so. I've seen or heard of Jon boat owners lining the hulls of these boats with the material used in pickup liners. Anyone have experience with this? Would appreciate your input on this, including type of liner, cost and rec on who does this in the Dallas area.

Most of the newer boats are done this way. Only problem is most truck spray in liners are black so you will need to paint afterwards.

I think most people use it as foot traction and not to make boat stronger.
