Lake Murray was awesome for smallies when we fished it for the wild card during bass fest

Lake Eufaula has some giants in it. This is true but they are harder to catch for some reason. Unlike Ten Killer and Hudson. Not many people outside of Oklahoma fish or know about Hudson but its a great small mouth and large mouth fishery just be careful where you run. very stumpy.

Skiatook, Murray, Tenkiller and Broken Bow. Eufaula has given up some giants, but they are often tough to find there.

Tenkiller and Skiatook are the main ones I go to. We caught around 12 during our night tournament Saturday on Tenkiller.

I was just up on Tenkiller about 5 weeks ago... just before the summer heat set in... first time on the lake and caught a bunch of 3-4 lb smallies.... also caught a bunch of 3-4 lb spots and a 6.25 LM.. so a great lake to mix it up on... lake was still high at the time, so mostly fishing flooded brush... lots of cuts and deep water rocky cliffs...

All of these are great smallmouth lakes. Like it was said above though, Eufaula doesn't produce a lot of them but there are a few giants in it. I hung a cb up on a rock and popped it loose, realed up the slack and had one eat it. It jumped off but looked to be in the 7lb range. Definitely would have been my biggest smallie by far. Murray probably has the largest population of them though.
