After the post from Tractor I decided to head up and see if I could find any crappie on Texoma. I didn't get off work until 7:30 a.m. so it was 9:45 before I was able to get on the water. I caught 10 fish total and had 7 nice keepers. Threw 2 back that were 10" on the nose but too close to chance it and one was 9 3/4". Fish bit well from 9:45 to 10:45. Exactly like Tractor said at 10:45 they were done or more likely they were gone. The best depth was 10'. I got bored and had plenty of minnows (since most fish were caught on jigs) so I decided to catch some of the many gar that kept surfacing. Now that's fun on a 4'6" ultralight. Sorry I can't get the pic of the fish to load since it's not a jpg.
