Are there any fish in that pond by the radisson hotel in Denton? If so, what species are there. I would think there were perch but what about bass, or crappie? Does anyone know?

There are some decent bass in there, or were some I havent fished there in a while, but a little 2 inch white curly tail grub used to tear them up out there. I also used to catch a bunch of small channel cats out of there. Ardodson

Yes there are bass, I caught a couple at the start of last summer that weighed about 1.5 pounds each. I caught them on a baby one crankbait.

I'm now convinced that there are no fish in this pond. There's about 1 million turtles but I've not gotten a bite yet. I've thrown every lure that I own, even the one's in the emergency kit (when all else fails). I'll move on to another fishin hole.

KMB I have also fished this pond several times, I used to live in the Dorms across the street. I never caught a fish but had a friend who apparently would tear them up. I too fish N Lake...haven't been since last summer when the fishing started to fail, but I am going to possibly go tomorrow, maybe I'll see you there. BTW I have a bass buster, but I can only use it when I can borrow a truck!! Get us a truck and I can get us on the water.
