Not used to seeing water this clear, but definitely enjoying this trip to California! Here's a good bass that was picked up on a drop shot off of a rock ledge.

I remember everything about this photo so vividly. A spontaneous family trip to Yosemite National Park! We hadn't been in over 15 years, and it was the first time my youngest brother had ever gone. So many memories driving passed the campsites, you just can't make memories like that indoors.  What a pretty shot!

To say I'm missing the SoCal weather would be an understatement. I'm, also, hoping to catch another beauty like this now that I'm back in Texas! Wishing everyone has a fun/safe Father's Day weekend!

Went out to a local pond and was really worried about the condition of the fishery, the water was really low and just had an off-look to it. I figured a drop shot would be one of my best bets for a tough bite but, boy, was I wrong. I put the spinning gear down and grabbed ol' faithful. The Lake Fork Trophy Lures Live Magic Shad came through once again!

A completely unexpected chunk of a bass I caught after thoroughly fishing an area with a few variations of worms, even trolled over the spot. I looked back and on a whim, I picked up another rod and flipped a t-rigged crawfish by one of the stumps and got slammed. Who would've believed that after letting this one go I got her twin sister to take the same crawfish off the same stump?!
