Okay, I have another question.
I have a 16ft Weldbilt aluminum boat. It has an aluminum deck floor and somet type of aluminum "sides" to cover the "ribs" so to speak. The boat did not come pre-wired with electric from back of boat to front. I would like to have my trolling motor battery in the back of the boat and run electric wires to the front to the trolling motor.
There is a headlight on the front of the boat. Around the throttle control, there is a hole where I can see the wires that were ran to the headlamp. I've tried using fish tape to run from that hole to the front, but I think the sidewalls were welded back over or something because I can't get the tape to go through.
I really don't want to pay Taylor Marine the money they charge to run the wires. Does anyone have a suggestion on how I could run the wires, maybe on the top of the sidewall, to the front? How would you secure the wires on the outside if you had to? Maybe the 3M adhesive?
Thanks for any help.

Not being specifically familiar with your layout , I will, nonetheless, suggest this......be patient...be very patient! I know how stupid that must sound......but, I have managed many such projects successfully soley for the sake of patience. I've run looms through bulkheads at points of relief I didn't know existed, and but for patience and perseverance I would have never known, much less been successful.
It's interesting how many man hours can be put into the smallest focus, and they are almost always rewarding beyond measure, if to no one but yourself.
Good luck to you sir!
Take someone you love Fishing...

Thanks, Leonardo. You are right - I need patience. When I tried before, I probably gave about 15 minutes of running a fish tape before I threw in the towel.
