When you beat the banks do you take your whole fishing arsenal in your tackle bag? Or do you take a hand full of your go to lures in a back pack or something like that? I normally take my tackle bag but I thinking about doing something different. Just looking what other anglers do to get some ideas.

I usually bring my entire tackle bag. If it's a short walk from the fishing spot, I'll leave the bag in the car. If I need to change lures, I can easily walk back to the car. The only exception is that I'll put a few extra plastic worms in a Ziploc and stick those in my pocket. If it's a longer walk, I'll take the bag with me and leave it at a central spot.

Not all my stuff, but I carry a backpack with a plano full of jigs, cranks, and chatterbaits, and a bait binder with my spinnerbaits and soft plastics. I have basically everything I need with me all the time.
The dude abides...

How many rods? I normally carry 2. If I'm going to a local pond for a couple of hours (starting 1 hour before sunrise or sunset), I'll bring two. One for plastics and the other for topwater. I leave one rod and my tackle bag in the car. In a pinch, one of the rods can be used for some other type of lure. If I'm going for a longer time, I usually bring 4 or 5 rods so I can switch to more options quicker and have a rod that's better for each lure type that I like to use.

I only carry 1 box with everything I need. I use a 7x11 plano box since it has room for all my different size jigs, grubs, spinners, spoons & top water plugs I ever use. I also add a couple corks, set of pliers & stringer. A simple shoulder pack or belt pack makes it light weight.
One of the best things you can have is an extra spool with line in case of numerous break offs. That's like having 2 rods without the bulk & weight.

I wear a vest and carry everything I need in there. I usually carry a fly rod and a spinning rod with me. If I am going to do a lot of walking I might just carry one rod with me.

Back pack for sure if your bass fishing and walking the banks a lot. 2 rods for me usually depends in what I'm doing or how long I'm staying. If I'm fly fishing I have a really small bag that clips on my belt loop that holds everything I need. I used to carry a tackle bag but even with a shoulder strap it was a pain when I finally switched to using a back pack I was much happier. You can fit a lot in a back pack as well. I still use my back pack in the kayak, too. I have it leashed to my crate its very convenient when I want to bank fish to just unhook the leash and throw it on my back and go.

I use a backpack. My rods are 2-piece, and pull apart. I have plastic sorting boxes that sort my stuff. I keep my hat, shades, and everything in it's various pockets.
My backpack has chest straps and thick shoulder pads.
I have a tackle bag as well. I don't use it though but I think I will since it is smaller then my backpack.

Backpack of gear in car. I wear one of those fly fishing slings on my back while I fish with just enough tackle to where I don't have to go back to car. Carry 2 rods. One xfast for jig/t-rigs, and one mod fast for topwater/treble hooks.
Gone fishin', be back at dark-thirty!

In the past I've lugged around 6 poles a box and a bag. But it's miserable to walk around with. I recently condensed to 2 poles both 2 part for easy transport and a small box with my go to lures/worms, some hooks, weights, a few bobbers (just in case )and a stringer. I'm considering upgrading to the backpack method.
Gotta catch em' all. I love to fish! 29 years fishing strong.
