I think I remember, some time ago, someone had a link to step-by-step instructions for cleaning a Shimano reel complete with pictures. I am thinking it was a link to a shop that would actually clean your reels for you if you sent them in, but it basically told you how to do it as well. Am I completely nutso or does this actually exist?

Thanks for the post and the tips and techniques part - GREAT information that I have been looking for. I do not use many baitcasters right now, but if I start using them more (like when I get decent at casting them), your video will be on my list.
