ANyone know if the flounder have started to come back yet.. Thinkin about heading to rollover this weekend just wondering if anybody has heard anything..

We're looking for an increase in water temp......haven't heard about any major movement albeit there are reports of catches around Bolivar.

We're gettin' "antsy" too! LOL

Not sure if water temp as changed much.. I havn't been down there in about three weeks.. I will be there in the morning and let you know how it goes..

Well all we caught was one flounder.. Ended up going out to Hanna's caught about 15 trout or so.. Still not a bad trip just not any flat fish showing up yet..

I know for the fall run, once the temp gets @ 67 degrees is when the run starts, maybe its the same for the spring run

Fri 6th I caught my first flounder of yr ( 3 1/2 lbs) off Galveston Fishing Pier > I think the fish was lost and starving cause , it ate dead shrimp off the bottom and the water was so offcolor I could have wrote my name in it /
