The Ray Hubbard Bass Cub will be having our sixth tournament of the year Saturday July 9th on Lake Ray Hubbard. Here is the information -

� When: Saturday July 9th
� Where: Lake Ray Hubbard - Chandlers Landing - $10.00 launch fee paid at Registration
� Time: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
� Registration: 4:30 AM - 5:15 AM
� Entry Fee: $60.00 per boat � 2 person maximum

You MUST be an RHBC member to fish this tournament. We do not accept membership at the launch ramp, so if you want to fish this one, you will have needed to join the Club at our meeting this Thursday night at BPS Garland. Here is a link to the meeting information.

Registration will be at the ramp starting at 4:30 on Saturday morning. When you register you will be given a numbered chip. You will need to to turn your chip in by placing it on the board get your fish weighed. You can then launch or trailer and go to your spot. No lines in the water until 5:30. Last cast is 2:00.

There will be a 30 minute dead water period where no fishing is allowed at the end of the day. This is to give members time to get off the water, and the TD's time to get the weigh in set up. The chip must be back on the board with the Tournament Director by 2:30 and weigh in will start then. You will be called to the scales by boat number. Leave your fish in the live well until your number is called! See you at the ramp!

Ol Mother Hubbard has not been very cooperative in practice. Hope tournament day is different. Weather says:

Mostly sunny, with a high near 95. Heat index values as high as 102. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Be careful in the wind and take care of yourselves and your fish in the heat!

Looks like I'm going to miss this one. I'm going to be spending the night at the hospital tonight. My wife, 7 months pregnant, is having an issue and they need to monitor her and the baby while they treat her.

We had 47 boats show up! New Ray Hubbard Bass Club record!

Lots of boats and lots of fish caught! The 12-13" fish were plentiful! Great tournament and thank you to the officers that make it run so smoothly! Y'all are awesome!

what won

Doug Rener and Brett Killingsworth won with a 5 fish limit for 21.23 pounds. Big bass of the day was a 7.73 beast weighed in by Preston Smith and David Horton. 46 teams fished with us which as Russell mentioned above is a new record for our Club. Thanks to everyone that came out and I will get full results and pictures posted this week.
