What size hooks would y'all recommend for caster redfish and shark leaders. I've been running 9/0 and 12/0 circle hooks lately but not sure if those would be big enough or if I needed to go up to a 14/0 or 15/0. What size hooks would y'all use?

All my beach fishing we all used 20/0 Mustad circle sharpened, at least 16/0. Some friends used up to 24/0. Just depends on bait and where you are. My large hammer head I caught between Galveston and San Luis Pass was on a 20/0.
We fished big baits, someone would be at the party boat docks when they came in and get fish heads free from the cleaners.

Ok thanks, aren't mustad hooks a lot smaller than other hook brands?

some yes not sure of all of them just what I seemed to use, the 20/0 circle is a big hook
