You make half a doz. in different patterns for me to take to Mexico and I will definitely be able to tell you in 3 hours of fishing down there if it will work here or not. We make our first trip the last of Oct..

hey bois! here's a batch i did today. kind of the opposite color layout that you used. no clear coat yet. haven't had them to the water yet. hope they're productive.

should be ready tomorrow. i used the ac1315 instead of the d2t. just dipped the final coat a little while ago. had a couple more baits bubble with the d2t. i may have to switch over.

all coated up and ready for the water. working on novelty pattern now but need to make a stencil first.

Continuing with the original intent of my post. This particular paint pattern (not the same as the 2.5 shown earlier in this post) started out as a knockoff of a Diawa lure pattern. After several months of changes, tweaks and testing its proven to be an effective pattern when bass are feeding on shad.      The photos are from a recent trip to a public lake in Henderson County. The water clarity is the same tea color found in most east Texas lakes, water temp was upper 80's with mostly clear skies, 5-10 mph winds shifting from east to southeast. Lots of numbers, all about the size...nothing over 3-4 lbs...just fun fast action. Don't think there's anything more to be done with this paint schedule. It regularly produces when bass are hitting crank-baits. Keep thinking good thoughts and good luck fishing  .
