 Where to catch shad on tawakoni

Going striper fishing tomorrow. It's my first time on the lake and would appreciate any help in locating some decent shad.

Same places you'd catch them on any other lake.

We will be out tomorrow afternoon. Going to be taking in some sun and fun.I think there may be a catfish tournament going on this weekend .But hope to find them before the sun goes down.

Went out yesterday morning and caught up all the shad I needed easy enough. Now the struggle is getting on the fish. We struck out yesterday big time. I heard they well on sun point first thing for about an hour or two then shut down
