There's also a Dobyns with a Lews on it about 100 yards south of that! Lost it 2 years ago, still makes me laugh. It was SLOOOOWWWW motion and I couldn't do a thing about it lol

Does insurance cover things that fall out of the boat? mine does. I've replaced probably 5 or 6 lost rods.

I need to check the insurance out. I watched it fall off the top of the engine cowling. Definitely sick to the stomach feeling. Gonna be at least 400 to replace. Lost a lot of footage that is proof that I don't catch fish.

Get you one of the floats that sticks to the back of the case and then you won't have to worry about it sinking

Get you one of the floats that sticks to the back of the case and then you won't have to worry about it sinking If he had a suction cup mount on that float is of ZERO help.

I had it mounted on top of the cowling with one of the stick on mounts. The riser where the camera screws on broke. A floatie would have helped but I was too dang cheap to buy one. Most lessons are learned the hard way!
