If there are any big ones in Barg I haven't seen them. A couple of 14 inchers. I know they stock it and encourage catch and release of the bass but with the pond's small size I'm not sure there's enough food for them to grow big.

I did see a guy catch a couple of channel cats about 2 foot long one day during the trout stocking program.

Fished ML today caught 1 bass on a frog. Wife caught a bass, blue gill and a catfish on hotdog. Nice little pond. Didn't get to walk the bank like normal because I had the family. I will be gong back soon.

I think I saw y'all out there, glad y'all got on a few fish. I didn't have any luck myself, although I was only out there for an hour. I noticed a lot of the cover in the pond has either died or has been cleared out. Not sure what happened to it but I think it could affect fishing. Hopefully not, but time will tell.

I started at Arlington Webb Britton rd. and fished one side of the bank before crossing over S Camino Lagos and fished the bank closest to the bridge there.

This is where I sometimes go. But usually catch smaller bass. I have seen some decent ones pulled out though.

When I'm with the family I'll take quantity over quality all day long to keep them interested.

Any reports? I'm fairly new to the area. Would like to know of any other decent ponds around the area decent to take the family.

I was there from 3 to 6 caught about 5 dinkers and 2 that were atleast 2lbs. I caught them with a bass pro stick-o bubblegum color on a wacky rig setup.

I've noticed it's been very busy lately, a lot more families going out there. Love seeing all the kids out there fishing, getting them started young. I haven't had as much time to go fishing lately, hope to get out there again soon. Talked to someone the other day that caught a 6 lb. bass a few weeks ago out of ML. So there are good size fish to be caught in there.

I hope you guys are practicing catch and release because the pond cannot support a large population of bass.

Whenever I fish ponds, I always catch and release. I haven't seen anyone keep fish out of those ponds. Hopefully the majority are all catching and releasing.
