Flipping switch

I have a quantum reel. The flip switch is stuck in the flipping position. Don't want to forc it and break it. Any ideas?

I wouldn't force it. Your best bet is to remove side cover to see why it's bound up.

It is probably a little past due on the maintenance side of things. Those pawl gears get eaten up like bubble gum. If you are going to continue to use this reel, you might as well learn how to clean and repair it.
