Friends and nephew wanted me to take them for some sandies and hybrids. They never caught a hybrid before so they're all excited. Will be launching at state park at 7am. We will be in a Maroon Tracker boat deep-v. Swing by and say hi if you see us. Hopefully the fish is cooperative and not scattered. I know it will be a madhouse. Regardless we will be having a good time. Will report back upon return.

My buddy and I will be there tomorrow hopefully launching out of Sky Point park by no later 7 AM. We'll be in a white 18 foot Majek center console.

We're going to try to get some shad and find some Hybrids or at least some big Sandies! I hope to see you out there!

Any word on where the fish have been lately? Any bird action early?

Had a great day fishing this afternoon. Found some large striper on the Holiday hump in about 25' water. Moes chartreuse slabs. Plenty of big sandy's on north side of lake. No crowd today. Good luck.

Well we got on the water by 6:45am and I was surprised the state park was not that busy. Anyhow I was checking my usual areas with no luck at all! I saw the guides were killing them with live bait drifting. Cruised all over the lake looking and we would catch one here and there. 4 hours had gone by and all we had in the cooler were 2 sandies and several yellow basses. The wind was no help either. Boat was rocking up and down until my nephew got sick. Now it's a little after 1pm we went up north again and marked some few fish. We were catching here and there so we decided to stay put since the wind was a killer. After a little while more fish started to show up. Now they were busting the surface and it was game on. Then it die down and we're able to catch every 2 to 3 cast off the bottom about 15 ft. I called a buddy of mine over and we stayed until 6pm. We threw back all 12" and under sandies and kept all magnum sandies. We started off very slow but ended up pretty good. Today we caught between 80 to 100 sandies in our boat. No hybrids at all. It was still a fun day!

Thanks for the info me and my dad will be headed out July 15-17 went few weeks back caught a few hope to do better.
