Hate that for him.
I was one of only 2 boats that watched him on Ray Hubbard a few years ago in the PAA event. I knew the area he was fishing pretty well and knew if the big ones were there yet he would smoke the entire field. As it turned out he did manage to get some decent fish but not enough to pull out a win. I still learned another method of catching those fish by watching him though.

I have known Matt for over 20 years. I have fished with him in tournaments and on guided trips to both Falcon and Fork. You want find a better person to be in the boat with. If you want to catch fish I highly recommend a trip with him. I fished with him at Falcon back in May and we caught over 200 bass in two days.
