Welcome to the site. Absolutely do as titleist9 recommended above and you are on your way to some good cat fishing. Stubby is great to learn from.

Brock and one of his employee's came over yesterday to go fishing with me. Luckily, we had a beautiful day on the water. The wind kept it bearable. They managed to catch enough fish to keep their limits. We caught them in 24 feet of water. Thanks, Brock, for coming back again. I enjoyed your company just like I did the last time. I hope to see you soon. I am finally back fishing again!! good work Stubby

My awesome wife contacted Mr. Stubby and its looks like a guided trip is in my near future. There are so many guides out there on the Internet. For years I have been a reader "not a member" of this forum and have seen nothing but good things about Stubby. I have been a bank fisherman all my life until recently I purchased a kayak. So of course I put a fish finder on it. Don't want to take anybody's honey hole just want to find out strategies on finding how to find them. Been taking out the little one "our son" to the lake with his kid pole. Don't know if he's ready for the boat yet. Thanks everybody and good fishin.

After your trip with Stubby, I would predict that a catfish boat is in your future. He will clue you in on how to catch them.

You can never start them too early fishing. You'd be surprised even as babies what they pick up.
