I'm posting this here because I can't find a more appropriate forum. I'm trying to find some comparisons between Buff and SA face shields. Anyone out there who has tried both? Thanks in advance for any info.

Have both and I prefer the SA. The SA has a different material and I believe it wicks moisture from your face better than the buffs. Just my opinion though. I have about 10 of them and definitely recommend. They have coupon codes all the time and most recently one that had (5) shields for $15. Patterns are cool too.

Those SA are good for a couple trips but Stretch out and are useless after hard use.Buff is okay,HUK is okay, Cabelas makes the best one imo.

I use SA because they are cheap. I have a bunch of them because I use them at work also. They hold up good and do stretch but usually washing and drying them gets them right back in shape.

Do any of yall using these have beards? Reason I ask is I had to quit wearing any kind of face mask when hunting because it hangs my beard and bugs me. Just curious if these would be the same way.

Yes, the one I use for hunting is made by a company called Treeyn. I've mowed grass in mine. I like the cabelas because the small breathing vent.

Haha. Figured a beard would make a face cover a non issue. Lol. I have a goatee. I use Arctic Armor. It works ok. It's like a buff but it isn't a tube. It's cut and stitched to fit better. I'm using it in Canada right now.40 degrees F, 50mph winds, rain, and hail yesterday and so far today. Been able to stay on the fish and this piece is a critical part that keeps my face warm.

The SA ones are HOT and Miserable! They are way too tight and they don't breathe at all. Instant heat exhaustion. A friend gave me one but I'm looking for an alternative

I like the Academy brand. They are a lot thinner, and cooler in my opinion. They are 9.97.

I like the mission ones, they are longer, allows you wear it different ways. Also have a gatorskin, but I think they went out of business, has a mesh cut out for breathing.

I've looked at BPS and Cabela's and they're not cheap either. Haven't seen the SA kind anywhere. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.

They are Megallen brand. Both the this spring and early winter. They didn't seem to be on sale it is just what they rang up.
