This ol redneck is still researching for a new unit. Anyone have any feedback on the Helix 10 DI GPS ? The Helix 10 SI GPS is the Side imaging Unit for another $400. All feedback is appreciated. Thanks, Rio

IMHO add the $400 and get the SI version, then you will have 2D, DI, and SI.
All my units are Side Imaging units and I do not use the DI view for fishing. Mostly for demo screen shots. I prefer the coverage that SI has.
With the ONIX, I just turn that function off.
Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G4N, SOLIX 10 G3, Helix 15 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G4N, Helix 8 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G4N, SOLIX 12 G3, MEGA 360, MEGA LIVE TL , MEGA LIVE 2, Xplore 10

Thanks for feedback Wayne. To be honest i'm confused on the SI. All my years of looking at DI sonar has me stuck in the old school You mentioned 2D ?
