A buddy and I are headed to Joe Pool tomorrow afternoon/evening (I know it's gonna be hot!!!). I've never fished the lake before so anyone have any suggestions on where to launch and what area or areas to fish? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

$10 at the Oasis, run the creek channel everywhere it runs close to shallows, like 'King said, flip trees at the base especially the green ones....dying to go out there but my until next weekend. Good luck, fun lake until the rec crowd gets fired up and then it's miserable unless you are cove /creek fishing.

Color? I personally like red, purple and green baby and full size brush hogs and red shad worms.
