My mom is just now able to afford to do something for my birthday and she wants to send me and my grandpa on a guided striper trip at texoma later this month or just whenever the fishing is good. Who all would you recommend to be the guide? We can't go with someone who's super pricy, she keeps insisting on sending us cause it's something I've always wanted to do but I just didn't want her to be spending a ton. So if you know anyone who guides and doesn't charge an arm and a leg please leave their information for me! TIA P.S. We're in SW Oklahoma so we would be on the Okie side of Texoma

Only one I know that is consistently on fish right now is James Allen. That said, most of what he is catching is sand bass with a few stripers thrown in. So if catching a lot of fish is what you want, give him a call. If catching only stripers, then not sure who to tell you, it's been pretty lean up there.
Chris Carey with Striper Express is also a good option, just haven't heard many reports from him lately.

We are the same TONS OF SAND BASS w a few stripes mixed in. Prices are 125-150 a head lake wide. Most who go for cheap and under cut don't survive. With that being said Brian from stripers inc. has a let's say unique way of looking at it but still based on 125 per

American Striper Guides have been on the fish as well. White bass and some good size stripers. Striper express also has been on the fish from what I heard. Can't go wrong with either choice. You might want to see what style of fishing you like, some guides go artificial while others go live bait.

I would go with Chris Carey at Striper Express. The man knows the lake very well and will put you on the fish!

I've only heard great things about Chris Carey and Striper Express. I also recommend Striper Express.
