Same here. It's the "due diligence" part that rules me out. If I try it and get no bites, it's off my line pretty fast. I don't fish for the exercise. Haha I will immediately tie on something that will work. That said....I have never caught a bass on an a rig. Have two of them and only slung each out about 5 times each. Then said screw it and started catching them on senkos.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

Big Swimbait - But I really only throw them in the winter and early spring, and I have never fully committed to it yet...

FROG, plenty of bites but I can't make myself wait just a second longer
then of course lots of junk baits Try closing your eyes after you cast it while you're working back. That may very well work, hadn't thought of it. No telling how many I've missed

Flutter spoon for sure. Three casts in, I'm thinking.... "Of course this doesn't work, I'm throwing a shoe horn with a treble hook!"

This one is a problem for me. I have 6-8 different ones, throw them several times during a trip. 5-6 years & still GOOSE EGG,000, Zilch!

OK all you guys that say chatterbaits. Gonna give you a tip. Trim the skirt down and use a small trailer. Gives it a lot more "fleeing" action. Try it on Fork this weekend, it will catch fish. ( Just stay away from the old fart in the blue 200ZX)
