 What to use to try to control fleas outside?

My wife will not let me use tanerite :(- So that's not a option. lol, What to use?

Keep your pets medicated and use diatomaceous (sp?) earth or beneficial nematodes on the yard .

Don't kill all the fire ants. They eat the hell out of fleas and ticks.

A neighbor uses off road diesel sprayed with a garden type pump tank. I just about would rather have the fleas.

you can also use nematodes to kill flea larvae

We had fleas and sprayed all sorts of poisons every year. I reckon stray cats always brought them back. On the recommendation of our vet we tried dusting the back yard with diatomaceous earth and we have not had problems since. In fact there are no more crawling bugs of any kind.
Give it a try, worked well for us

Diatomaceous earth works but read up on it before use . You don't want to breathe the dust . I've seen recommendations of mixing it with water in a sprayer .
