If you are in the market for a new sonar mount, or would just like to see your sonar better here you go. Down position. Raised half way up. Fully extended. These mounts are custom made by Corky Redden, and will last. No more bending over to zoom in or change screens $75.00 plus s&h 940-862-3321

Those are great features. Gets the unit up where you can see it better. Adjustable height and will work with any brand or model.

Good for us old folks who have more trouble bending over than seeing.

These mounts are not unit specific. The unit in the pic is a HDS 7 to give you a example. I did not drill any holes in the top plate, this way you can drill holes to mount any bracket. When running across the lake just lower the unit to the floor. If you want to remove your unit when leaving the lake just loosen the top set screw and slide it out, no more messing with the two screw on the unit. I built the first mount so I could see my graph better, and not have to bend over to change pages. I field tested this mount for a year and made only one improvement.

finding a way to secure the units would be great. By secure I mean to keep thieves from getting at them. If something similar to a lock lug on a car could be made, that screwed into the unit where the mounting knobs go, it would work. Or have bolts with eyes welded on and once the bolts are screwed into the holes on the unit, run a cable or bicycle lock thru them then they cant be unscrewed. That is how I would secure my small outboard s on. once the mounting handles were tightened, run a gun cable lock thru the holes, and lock it. you cannot turn the handles after that. Then where the unit mounts to the floor of the boat, put a clevis pin with a hole thru it for a padlock.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

I just slide the top off with my graph by loosening the top locking handle. A thief would have to unbolt the base to steal it. This is to much trouble.

Looks like they would rust. Maybe if they were made out of stainless or aluminum.
