I have 3 - 2 spinning & 1 casting. Very light, sensitive & have held up to braid on all. IMO a very good value.
Less gritchin', more fishin'

Max 3D rods are great if you can afford the 40 extra bucks. Also the lifetime warranty can't be beat.

I have several and really like them. The newer ones with the Fuji guides are the best. You can find them on Ebay for a little less than retail without taxes.

Thanks guys. I have a half dozen due to arrive tomorrow from Tacklewarehouse. That Memorial Day sale was awesome. I knew what components I was looking for and which reel seats and triggers I like. They seem to be a good match at not a lot of money.
As a side note, the Abu Garcia Orra is a steal also! This little reel performs great!

I use the 725 CF Mag Heavy for my frog (and Jig if I ever get around to tying one on) rod. Handles the task well, was able to get my first heavy slop frog up and out quick paired with a high speed reel!

I hit that TW sale and picked up 2 more myself. Started switching to them a few months back to get away from the Veritas. Have been very impressed so far.
