I clean them in my kitchen. Sure is nice to get out of the heat.
Last summer, I made the mistake of dumping a limit of sandbass carcasses in my trash cans the day after trash day. Talk about stink. Since then, freezing the remains until trash day is a must.

I have a 18" x24" piece of red wood that I lay on the garage work bench(near the end),I have 2 nails driven in the end of the work bench that I stretch plastic bags over, and just rake the guts into them, when finished I just pull the sack off the nails, tie and freeze till trash day, wash board, knife and 5gal bucket with hose in the yard.

When I lived in town I'd take them to the creek at the golf course and feed the turtles. Now that I live out of town I have tow ponds on my place and still feed the turtles.
When in town and people would see me dumping a 5 gal bucket of stuff in the creek I got some looks and was approached by a few concerned. Once I explained what I was doing all was good.

Back in the 80'S, I would clean at my apartment and then put the guts in a paper bag and deposit in the trash can at the front door of the 7/11 on the corner. They had a really rude staff. Probable shouldn't have gone to their level. Now, I clean on the truck tailgate and return the carcasses to the lake. Clean a lot of cats at times and end up with a lot of mass to dispose of.
Preserving Texas fishing heritage one lure at a time.

I never know where I will be cleaning.
Put some brown paper bags inside 4-6 plastic bags and you won't have rips or punctures. Paper bags hold the plastic open also.
God loves you just as much as anybody else!!
Jesus offered His life as a gift for you. Please accept it!

My wife just looked at this post. She said keep getting rid of them where you have been. I clean fish at home an then double plastic bag them and go a gas station and get some gas and throw them out.

Depends on how my shop guy has been treating me. If I have to stay late to close the shop on Friday, he gets to smell the rotting fish in the dumpster the whole next week.

I like the ironing board idea. Have an old one I was about to haul to Goodwill, think I'll convert it. Currently using a cutting board on a wooden patio table.

I just set a board accross my cooler that the fish are in. Throw the remains in a trash bag for the freezer or bury them
