Does anyone know a link or something to instructions on how to make a good milk crate(or any other kind) tackle starage thing for the back of your yak? Looking for something I can maybe close just in case I have a clumsy moment so I dont lose everything hammer

There are a lot of youtube videos about rigging milk crates but one of the best things you can do it put your tackle in sealed boxes that float. You can get them at Walmart.

I have pool noodles on my paddle and rod floats. Even my Iphone has a life proof life jacket. Everything else is mounted to the kayak somehow. If I turtled I would probably lose my pliers and that would be about it.

My friend and I both use coke crates with the bottoms cut out of all except the bottom one. Then use bungee cords to strap down everything. Everybodys crate will be different based on what works best for you. Iirc we used small wire clamps to attach crates to kayak.
