Coming from out of town to fish Squaw Creek Saturday. Looking for any reports or advice, my home lake is Amistad and I am confident in my abilities to find fish with my electronics just looking for some ideas as to where to start this time of year on a PP lake. Any strategies or advice are welcome, thanks.

I fished it on 5/20, We boated 11, biggest went 5 1/4, 6 came off a yellow magic, 2 carolina rigging, and 3 flipping. We stayed north the entire time.
Just trying to remember to turn my lights off backing down the ramp!

I have been wanting to go down there and get into the tilapia. Heard the lake was infested with them.
From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."
Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

Thanks for the information gents. I am looking forward to getting out there,
As far as Tilapia, I know that we catch them down at Amistad with cast nets near the springs in the winter when they are near the warmer water. Without fishing Squaw Creek yet I couldn't say, but find the warm water in the winter and if there is Talapia in the lake you Can bet they will be there.
