 My boat is back in service.......YEA

After battleing overheating for weeks I finally got the motor fixed. (No more idling around all day)
first changd the water pump impeller, next the thermostat, Not the problem. Finally took the motor apart and cleaned the water channels. FIXED
Guess what was stopping the water flow? ZEBRA MUSSELS inside the engine. If you leave your boat in the water be sure you tilt the motor up all the way when not in use.
Work was done by Steve (Lain's Boat Motor Repair 214-517-0047) Great job and very reasonable price.
Steve has a terrific mobile shop and will come to you to do the work.
He also works on cars.
OK Guy, now we can fish again. (And I get to listen to you complain about my boat handling)
Funny, no one else complains.

Glad that is behind us all! Ernest - you are going to have to be nice to Guy cause he has lots of disabilities now. This is you new opportunity to show him some of your new techniques. Bet he might listen a little more now that he is one armed for a while!  Get well soon Guy!

The reason no one else complains is that they are just trying to be kind to an old fart. And since I'm a card carrying member of that club, I don't have to. But it is good to know that you can take your 'barge' further than a hundred feet away from your slip

Rudy Actually Rudy, we don't have to get out of the slip at all to catch fish this year. We have been wearing some good fish out.
