I dont mind the flame, I hate that ugly huge sticker in the middle of the boat. Ive seen a couple that had the sticker off that looked pretty good.

I have owned both. My Legends were very good boats and I don't have any real complaints about them.
Having said that, I will soon be into my second Phoenix. Easy decision for me.

Which Champ do you have? Ive always heard Bird boats ride good, but looking at the hull, it just doesnt seem they could ride "that" great.

I love the flame on the side. The chrome decal looks a lot better on the side than the red and white

I currently have my legend for sell on this forum. Once it sells I am planning on getting a phoenix if that tells you anything.

I will begin by saying iam a legend guy been with legend since 2005! That being said my best friend has a phoniex and I have been in it several times it is a nice boat fish ability and ride! But like most guys they are going to go with the best deal they can get! I will say that there is not another boat on the market with the fit an finish that legend has! I have been in all the boats! But till my deal ends with legend I will stay in a legend! If I ever have to change I already have 2 boats to chose from and I will leave it at that! The decision in some one choosing a boat is what they like and what kinda price they get!

I recently ordered a phoenix but when I really started getting serious I had 3 boats in mind. Phoenix, triton, and legend. They all had what I was looking for in a boat but after reading all the horror stories about the issues with the new v series that cut legend out. The 2 closest triton dealer didn't want to take time to talk with me so they were out. That left Phoenix. I believe I got the best boat out of the three even if it was by chance or whatever. Triton has a huge recall and plenty of horror stories of their own going right now and I'm not sure that legend has their issues fixed yet. Legends look really good and they have any color you want but there's a lot more to a boat than that. Look at the hardware and all the little stuff. That's where Phoenix gets ahead.

Triton is recalling over 200 2014 model boats and giving the owners brand new 2017 boats, to me that is a positive not a negative, if this happened to a smaller company i bet they would not be replacing all these boats, that being said I was going to take a hard look at Phoenix for my next boat because there is not a Triton dealer right here close, instead I am going to have to haul my brand new free boat a few miles to a dealer if I need any warranty work done. grin
