What tides are the water levels that are displayed on the chips based on for the coastal areas?

Bob, if I've read the details of the way the water levels are set on my chips they're based on Pool levels on Lakes and Mean Tide Levels on the Bay , mean tide can be based on Low or High Tide averages , but the chips are using the Mean Tide average between Low and High Tide over. Period of the last 10 years.

I guess I'm stuck on confused. The tide levels are going to be changing at the tide station.
