I went last Friday after work. Saw a stack of boats out by the old cut, then helped pull someone broke down to the boat ramp. Ran back and caught small sandies with a group of boats.

Friday night tourney results were mixed 3 for 13lbs won big was 6.7
I only boated 1 at 4lbs 12 oz, lost another good fish and only had a few dinks In all. Seems to be an hourly thing on Lewisville lately for me. I will fish 4 or 5 hours and all my fish will come in a 45 min period. Doesn't seem to matter too much on which spot I am at. Guess I also don't know where to look.

Lew is a good fishery when conditions are right. Last night with the clouds leaving and wind dying down, we caught a couple decent ones in about 2 to 6 feet. But, earlier this week with the rain and wind and cloudy conditions, I tore em up! Sandie are biting, too. So makes it a fun excursion. They were tight to cover, both shoreline and deeper.

Metal your right. They scattered some today but all this brush in the lake is holding fish.

My wife and I had a fair day. We caught about 25 total with a few dinks and may have had about 14# for our best five with a 4.5# and a 4#. All were in less than 6' on shakey heads and wacky Senkos. Flooded brush and main lake rock points.

Yesterday was better...they were killing my xps silver and black crank bait. A slender profile with a tight wobble is out fishing any fatter crank baits I throw, if that makes sense. I caught a couple on a spro frog, too.

I haven't ever caught a fish out of Lewisville over a pound and a half!! I can catch dinks most days but finding the bigger fish hasn't happened!!
