I get peanut oil from Sam's. Been using it for years and it's pretty decent stuff.

if ya got any friends in the restaurant business ask them if you can buy a 3 or 5 gallon jug.....they get them a lot cheaper than buying in the stores....we got connections for long john silvers
If it ain't broke don't fix it...but go ahead and work on it anyway.....

Peanut oil from Sam's. Only oil that will get hot enough without burning.

How does the Sam's peanut oil compare to the big jugs at academy that is marketed as for frying turkey?

Id call around to a few food service companies. Ben E Keith, Sysco, MBM, McLane foods. They all have it in big 35# jugs. They'll usually sell it Straight outta the office for whatever. I think I got a big 35# jug of pure peanut oil for $30 last time I bought it.
