So, my little dingy doesn't have downriggers. How can I get my lure down to the depth I want when trolling? Lets say an umbrella rig for instance and i want it at 20 feet.

Do a search on here for 'hell pet'. You'll get lots of good info.

Ronrigs with his clip on weights work well for me. I tried planers and they work so , so. I like trolling Ronrigs with 9 jigs on each one. You have a better chance for a double or triple hook up.

The kit that Moe's sells works very well. It's a very popular method of trolling for salmon in the PNW.

The kit that Moe's sells works very well. It's a very popular method of trolling for salmon in the PNW. Close.Use the spreader only in very hard current like Buoy 10 area. It does allow you yo turn sharper e/out messing up the line. Also, use a flourocarbon leader tied from barrel swivel/chain from spreader to lure.
