A couple of my employees had shoulder surgery for rotator cuff, theirs went great and I hope yours does too! They said to tell you to just do what the DR says and nothing more and you should be back in about 1/2 the time! They were told 4 mos also, but both were back in two!

Thanks for all the well wishes. It sounds like the majority of you really believe in the therapy process, but I am TERRIBLE at following doctors instructions. I mean, getting well is one thing, but fishing is a whole nother thing....and I gotta go fishing loco

Don't take any short cuts! As for the fishing - you can get Ernest to hold the rod, take the fish off - if he catches any for you! grin

Langdon and I have kept you in our prayers this week! Wishing for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. I was busy working in the yard all yesterday evening and he was upset we didn't get to go to the pond and fish any. He said he didn't get to see a fish all day. I told him you had to have shoulder surgery and might not get to fish for a couple months! He thought about that and said he would tell you to sneak out at night and go fishing while your shoulder was sleeping so it wouldn't know!! He was proud of that idea! Shaking his head with a big ol grin!!

I don't think I would take that advise, he's not a doctor and has never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. I do however, think I need to check the locks on his bedroom window! eeks

Good morning guys. As I'm told, the surgery went well (don't remember anything after the Dr said this is just something to make you feel a little better). Rotator cuff wasn't as bad as they thought it might be, but bicep was messed up some. The whole arm was numb until about noon yesterday....and then all those little pain buddies ganged up on me. Meds were suppose to help but haven't yet. I do like little mans suggestion and might try that tonight clap Thanks again for all the well wishes. This board is truly a band of brothers.
