Guys, I have installed KeelShields, Hamby's, and now the Line-X�s Spray-on Keel protector. From my personal experience the Keelshields are the easiest to install they are also the first to come off. However if they are done right they are good. The Hamby�s are good better the keelshields Hamby�s installed are as high as $503 for an 8 footer the six footer are $399 installed. Hamby�s only protect a total of 6 inches of the Keel.
With Line-X the customer can use a marker and mark the area to be sprayed custom protection. We have sprayed as much as 14 inches wide on the bottom of the boat. We have one customer with a Gambler that had his sprayed 14inches wide and 12 feet back around the bow hook and back. �He said it has not changed the performance of the boat at all�.
The price depends on the area to be sprayed. We have sprayed the entire bottom of one boat for $699 most Keel-X are $299 - $399.

Is it the same stuff they spray bed liners with?
