Just my paddle kind of luck, I decided not to fight this one and turn the drag off...he can have my jig not my line. I decided to call it a day, went home with a bruised pride and back lol.

nice report. The website said they were supposed to cut off the floodgates last night, can anybody confirm this that might have been there. thanks! looks like the striper skunkfest is still pretty strong at Denison.

I did get lucky and ran into these at the local pond this past Tuesday and again on Friday. Went back this morning but it was really slow.

Anyone ever kayaked out there? Wondering how fast/safe the water is with the fates open?

I wouldn't kayak it. Its pretty chaotic and there are many many hazards in that river. Too much current too.

If it ain't yours don't mess with it!

3 I landed 3 sliver and black striped footballs that were so full of shad I have no ideas why they would even care to hit a jig or top water. They are to fat to move.
